Karmic Vibes (“Karmic Vibes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is developed and operated by LogicVerse AI. We operate a mobile application available on iOS and Android platforms (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect your information when you use our App, website, software, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using Karmic Vibes, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

1. Nature of the App — Entertainment Disclaimer

Karmic Vibes is an entertainment and lifestyle application based on astrology, AI-generated interpretations, and cultural belief systems.

All content, insights, predictions, readings, and suggestions provided by Karmic Vibes are for entertainment, self-reflection, and general informational purposes only.

Karmic Vibes does not provide professional, legal, medical, financial, psychological, matrimonial, investment, gambling, or betting advice.

Users must not rely on the App for decisions related to:

• Marriage or divorce
• Financial investments, trading, or betting
• Gambling or games of chance
• Health, mental health, pregnancy, or medical treatment
• Legal matters
• Career-critical or life-altering decisions

You acknowledge that astrology is subjective, interpretations may vary, and AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Your use of the App is entirely at your own risk.

2. Information We Collect and Why

To operate, secure, and improve the Services, we collect the following categories of information.

A. Information You Provide Directly

You may provide information when you register, complete onboarding, use features, contact customer support, or make in-app purchases.

This may include:

• Email address (collected during registration via our authentication provider, Clerk)
• First name, last name, and optional middle name
• Date of birth, time of birth, and whether birth time is unknown
• Birth location including city, state, country, geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude), and timezone
• Profile picture (optional)
• Astrology system preference (Vedic or Western)
• User-generated content submitted to AI features, including chat messages, conversation history, dream descriptions, and reflections (used in Ask the Universe and Dream Analysis features)
• Feedback and support communications

Providing this information is optional, but certain features such as natal chart generation and personalized horoscopes require birth data to function.

B. Camera and Photo Library Data

The App may request access to your device camera and photo library for specific features:

Camera Access (Palm Reading feature):

• Camera access is requested only when you initiate a palm reading
• Palm images are compressed on your device (1500px width, 0.7 JPEG quality) before transmission
• Compressed images are transmitted to our backend server, which forwards them to our AI processing service to generate your reading
• We do not retain palm images on our servers beyond the time required to generate and return your reading
• You may decline camera access at any time in your device settings; this disables the palm reading feature only

Photo Library Access (Compatibility feature):

• Photo library access is requested only when you choose to upload a partner image for the compatibility feature
• Selected images are used solely within the App to personalize the compatibility experience
• You may decline photo library access at any time in your device settings

C. Location Data

The App may request access to your device’s location to provide accurate astrological calculations and localized weather information. Specifically:

• Precise GPS location (foreground only) is collected only with your explicit permission
• Location data is used to determine your geographic coordinates, city, region, and country for natal chart accuracy and weather display on the dashboard
• If you decline GPS access, you may manually enter your birth location; however, features such as weather display and location-based chart refinement will be limited
• Location data is not used for advertising, user profiling, or shared with advertising partners
• You may revoke location permission at any time in your device settings

D. Automatically Collected Information

When you use the Services, the following information may be automatically collected through our error monitoring service (Sentry):

• Device model and operating system version
• App version and platform (iOS or Android)
• Error reports, crash logs, and performance traces
• Session replay data when errors occur (captures UI state for debugging; personally identifiable information collection is disabled)

We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA or Android Advertising ID). We do not use Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, or any behavioral analytics platform. Sentry is configured with sendDefaultPii set to false, which disables automatic collection of personally identifiable information.

E. Payment Information

All in-app purchases and subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management platform. RevenueCat interfaces with Google Play Billing (Android) and Apple In-App Purchase (iOS) to process transactions.

Karmic Vibes does not directly collect, store, or have access to your payment card details. RevenueCat receives your anonymized customer identifier (derived from your account ID) to manage entitlements, track subscription status, and process renewals. Transaction records may be shared with us by RevenueCat and the platform stores solely to confirm purchase status and manage your subscription tier.

F. Push Notification Data

If you opt in to push notifications, the App collects:

• Your Expo push token (a unique device identifier for delivering notifications)
• Your device platform (iOS or Android)
• Your current language preference

Push tokens are registered with our backend server and used solely to deliver notifications such as daily horoscope reminders and special event alerts. You may disable push notifications at any time in your device settings or within the App under notification preferences.

G. Publicly Available Information

To support entertainment features such as celebrity compatibility matching, we may process publicly available information such as birth dates of public figures obtained from widely available sources. We do not independently verify such information, we are not responsible for inaccuracies in public data, and this processing is not intended to infringe on any individual’s rights.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following categories of third-party service providers to operate the Services. Each provider receives only the data necessary for its function:

• Authentication (Clerk): receives your email address, name, and OAuth credentials to manage secure sign-in via Apple, Google, or email/password
• AI Processing (cloud-based large language model providers via our backend): receives user-generated content (chat messages, dream descriptions) and birth data to generate personalized astrological and dream interpretations; receives compressed palm images to generate palm readings
• Subscription Management (RevenueCat): receives your anonymized customer identifier to manage subscription entitlements, purchase verification, and renewal status
• Error Monitoring (Sentry): receives crash reports, error logs, performance traces, and session replay data (with PII collection disabled) for app stability and debugging
• Geocoding (Mapbox): receives location search queries (city or address text) to resolve geographic coordinates for birth location entry
• Weather (Open-Meteo): receives latitude and longitude coordinates to provide current weather data displayed on the dashboard; this is a public API that does not require authentication
• Push Notifications (Expo Push Notification Service): receives device push tokens to route notifications to your device
• Cloud Infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform): hosts our backend servers and processes data as described in this policy
• Translation (Google Cloud Translation API, proxied via our backend): receives text content and your selected language code to provide translations in 13 supported languages

We do not control how third parties handle your data independently and encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use personal data for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain the Services, including generating natal charts, horoscopes, compatibility readings, numerology reports, and AI-powered interpretations
• To create and manage user accounts via Clerk authentication
• To personalize content based on your birth data, zodiac sign, and astrology system preference
• To process payments and manage subscription tiers via RevenueCat
• To deliver push notifications based on your notification preferences
• To display localized weather information on your dashboard
• To provide the App in your preferred language via translation services
• To monitor app stability, diagnose errors, and improve performance via Sentry
• To communicate service updates, security notices, and support responses
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not use your personal data to serve behavioral or targeted advertising within the App. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Karmic Vibes uses artificial intelligence and algorithmic systems to generate astrological interpretations, dream analyses, palm readings, compatibility scores, numerology reports, and other content.

• AI outputs are probabilistic, not deterministic
• Despite precautions, AI may generate incorrect, incomplete, misleading, or outdated information
• We make no guarantees regarding accuracy, reliability, or outcomes
• AI-generated content is for entertainment only and should not be relied upon for any decision-making

You agree that Karmic Vibes shall not be liable for decisions, actions, or consequences arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

6. How We Store and Secure Your Information

On-Device Storage

Certain data is stored locally on your device to enable offline functionality and improve performance:

• Birth data and profile information: stored in secure device storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore via SecureStore) where supported, with fallback to local application storage if data exceeds secure storage limits
• Chat and dream conversation history: stored in local application storage (AsyncStorage) on your device
• Saved natal charts (up to 15), palm readings (up to 20), and compatibility matches: stored in local application storage
• User preferences (theme, language, notification settings, astrology system): stored in local application storage
• Translation cache (up to 500 entries): stored in local application storage to reduce repeated translation requests

Local application storage (AsyncStorage) is not encrypted by default. Sensitive birth data is stored in SecureStore, which uses platform-native encryption (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore).

Server-Side Security

For data transmitted to and stored on our servers, we use:

• Encrypted data transmission (TLS/HTTPS) for all API communications
• Secure cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform)
• JWT-based authentication with Clerk for API access control
• Access controls and monitoring

No system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Data Retention

We retain personal data as follows:

• Account and profile data: retained on our servers for the duration of your active account
• AI-generated content and readings: retained on our servers until you delete your account or request deletion
• Palm images: not retained on our servers beyond the time required to generate your reading (typically seconds)
• Error monitoring data (Sentry): retained according to Sentry’s default retention policies (typically 90 days for event data)
• Backup archives: may persist for up to 90 days after deletion from primary systems

Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time by:

• Using the in-app account deletion option under Settings
• Submitting a written request to info@logicverse.ai

Upon account deletion, the following data is removed from your device: all saved charts, palm readings, compatibility matches, notification preferences, astrology preferences, and cached profile data. Server-side data deletion will be processed within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations. Backup archives may retain residual data for up to 90 additional days before permanent deletion.

7. Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: With the third-party providers listed in Section 3, each receiving only the data necessary for their specific function. All service providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the purposes for which it was shared.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
• Legal Requirements: To comply with applicable laws, court orders, or government requests, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Karmic Vibes, our users, or the public.
• With Your Consent: For any other purpose with your explicit prior consent.

8. Where Your Information Is Stored

Your information may be stored and processed in multiple countries, including but not limited to the United States and India, where our infrastructure and service providers operate. Data protection laws in these countries may differ from those in your home country.

Where required by law, we apply appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and contractual protections with our service providers. By using the Services, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to these countries as described in this Privacy Policy.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws including GDPR (European Union), CCPA (California), and other regional frameworks.

All Users

• Right to access the personal data we hold about you

10. Children’s Privacy

Karmic Vibes is not intended for children. The minimum age to use the Services is:

• 13 years in the United States and most other jurisdictions (in compliance with COPPA)
• 16 years in the European Union and jurisdictions where a higher age of digital consent applies (in compliance with GDPR)

If you are under the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction, you may not use the Services. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the applicable minimum age. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us immediately at info@logicverse.ai and we will take prompt steps to delete that information.

11. Use at Your Own Risk

You expressly agree that your use of the App is voluntary and entirely at your own risk. Karmic Vibes is not responsible for outcomes, interpretations, or expectations arising from use of the Services. Astrology is not a science and results may vary. Karmic Vibes disclaims all warranties, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will notify you via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The updated date at the top of this policy reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. If you do not agree to the revised policy, you must stop using the Services.
